So, what did it take to achieve these results? First off, we hold an operational authorization that allows us to get permission to fly in controlled, restricted, and prohibited airspace. Kilmurrin Cove is within controlled airspace, so we worked with the IAA and Waterford Airport to get approval. Once the flight had the green light from our aviation partners, we began preparations. We created a shoot proposal around the different stages of the artist’s process, considering the weather, safety, the incoming tide, and our client’s goals. Lastly, we made sure our plan aligned with our client’s expectations before the big day.

On the shoot we made sure to capture stills and video from all angles, ensuring we were left with multiple perspectives and angles to leverage. We even showed our team spirit and assisted the artist in understanding what the work looked like from above. Our focus is always on meeting our client’s needs; for this shoot, we drove constant communication with the artist and production team to ensure that the final image was as desired. After the shoot, we worked with the client to retouch and finalize the content to not only meet but exceed our brief. It was a fantastic day in a beautiful setting, and we were delighted to be a part of making our clients’ vision a success.
